Özet (EN)
In this study we retrospectively evaluated the demographic anddermatoscopic features of the patients with the diagnosis of melanoma, basal cellcarcinoma, dysplastic nevus and seborrheic keratosis.Melanoma group findings such as the average age of melanoma (54 in ourstudy while 57 in literature), earlier age of beginning in women than men, morecommon(84%) skin Type I and II and the frequent incidence of superficialspreading melanoma were seen to be in accordance with the literature.Total dermoscopic score in melanoma group was evaluated to be malign in85,7% of the patients. Irregular globules were the most encountered finding indermatoscopy (89.3%).It was concluded that there is a statistically significant relation betweenlesion duration and lesion thickness in melanoma. In our study, 68% of patients with basal cell carcinoma were women while32% of them were men. Average age was 56.5 years old. Except male and femaleratio the other findings were identical to literature. In the basal cell carcinoma group 80,8% of all the lesions were localized inhead and neck region. As a result of the dermatoscopic analysis of the basal cell carcinoma, largeblue-gray nests were the most frequently encountered (80%).In our study, 52% of patients with dysplastic nevus were women while48% of them were men. Average age was 30 year old.In the pattern analysis carried out during the dermatoscopic evaluation ofdysplastic nevus, in all the 59 lesions (100%) atypical pigment network, irregularglobules (88,1%) and irregular dots (83,1%) were detected. In our study, 58% of patients with seborrheic keratosis were women while42% of them were men. Average age was 58,4 years old and the findings wereidentical to the literature. In the dermatoscopic analysis of the 58 seborrheic keratosis lesionsincluded in the study, milia-like cysts and comedo-like openings that are regardedto be characteristics of seborrheic keratosis were detected at a rate of 91,4% and51,7% respectively. In conclusion, in this study where we analyzed the demographic anddermatoscopic features of the patients with the diagnosis of malignant melanoma, basal cell carcinoma, dysplastic nevus and seborrheic keratosis, we obtainedresults which generally comply with the known literature.
