Abstract (EN)
The studywas focused on the species composition and the densities oforganizms with seasonal changes. In the flora, a total of 241 taxabelonging to Bacillariophyta, Cyanophyta, Euglenophyta, Chlorophytaand Dinophyta were identified. In terms of species, the groups ofBacillariophyta and Euglenophyta were richer while the former wasdominant in density and Cyanophyta members subdominant. In relationto season, the flora showed increase in early summer and autumn anddecreased in winter. This variation was caused mostly by physical andchemical factors such as light, flow-rate, salinity, turbidity and heat.Science Code : 4010502Key Words : Melen Stream, Algae, Seasonal VariationPage Number : 103Adviser : Prof. Dr. Kazım YILDIZ
