Abstract (EN)
The main objective of this research is to investigate the importance of selective laser melting (SLM) process, with the application of laser on powder metals. SLM is one of the most popular methods to construct complex geometrical shape and advanced in additive manufacturing process for metallic materials. In the thesis, numerical modelling and simulations of temperature distribution of melt pool were analysed in SLM process. In this process, simulation of melting area and its situation in selected region by applied laser power is quite crucial to provide a better control. Temperature distribution of melt pool geometry can be defined by heat affected zone (HAZ), where is just before the phase transformation, melting region is obtained and this region is introduced the fusion of powders to complete needed geometry. There is a need for the control types and prediction. In order to distinguish the case of metallic powders, the simulation take an active role in this type of applications. In this study, demonstration of the dimensional simulation on the temperature distribution of melt pool is examined by user friendly customized methodology has been developed. According to laser interaction powder metals were instantly being affected of time and temperature with laser power. The results of the simulation have showed that the instantaneous position of laser beam effects for temperature distribution on the surface.
