The usage of the language in all literary works appears to be as an significant princible. The carefully-usage of the language greatly effects the comprehensibility of a work. Poets and novelists have an important responsibility in revealing the gracefullness of a language in novels, stories and poems. No matter how beautiful a language is, if it is not worked appropriately, it can not improve.The characteristcs of sentence varieties in Memduh Şevket Esendal's novels, had chosen as thesis subject matter. Memduh Şevket Esendal was one of the leading novelists of comtemporary Turkish story telling and he also used our language sensibly in his works.In our work, the sentences which had chosen from his novels "Ayaşlı ile Kiracıları and Miras and Vassaf Bey", were studied using traditional methods. Consequently, his proficiency in his using the language, had seen clearly. And also the features of our language, were understood one more time.
