The data of the study were collected using "Sociodemographic Data Form", "Meta-Cognitions Questionnaire 30 (MCQ 30)", "Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HAD)" and "Fear of Cancer Recurrence Inventory (FCRI)". While analyzing the data of the research, SPSS 25.0 program was used. As a result of the analysis made; There is a positive correlation between anxiety, depression, metacognition and fear of recurrence scores in the preoperative and postoperative periods. In addition, while a significant decrease in postoperative anxiety score was revealed compared to preoperative, a significant increase was found in the functioning impairments subscale score of FCRI. Factors affecting the significant change in anxiety and functioning impairments scores were explained by logistic regression analysis. The findings of this study were discussed and explained with the past research findings and recommendations were made for future studies.
