Abstract (EN)
Morphological, biochemical and moleculer markers are used to determinegenetic variation. Genetic variations among and within breeding lines andcultivars of lentils were investigated by RAPD and SDS-PAGE methods. RAPDindicates that there is not any genetic difference between Akm 2202/10 line andMeyveci cultivar; Akm 600 and Akm 602 lines; Akm 492 and Akm 583 lines.RAPD data also placed the cultivars in three main groups and within each maingroups cultivars differs distinctly from each other. The first group is composedof Malazgirt, Fırat, Erzurum, Sultan, Pul, the second is Kafkas, Emre, Meyveci,Kayı, Özbek, Yerli Kırmızı, Çiftçi and Ali Dayı and the third is Seyran. SDS-PAGE indicates that cultivars were divided into three different groups and thefirst group was composed of Ali Dayı, Seyran, Sultan cultivars, the second wascomposed of Yerli Kırmızı, Erzurum, Özbek cultivars and the third is composedof Meyveci and Kayi cultivars.Science Code :01:RAPD, lentil, Lens culinaris Medik., SDS-PAGEKey WordsPage number :85Advisor :Prof. Dr. Leyla AÇIK and Prof. Dr. Sebahattin ÖZCAN
