Abstract (EN)
In this study, a 11 storeyed (ground floor + 10 normal floor) steel building was analiysed and scrutinized according to DBYBHY 2007 (Turkish Code about Buildings That Are Constructed on Seismic Regions 2007) with different concentrically and eccentrically braced members. İn study, SAP 2000 program used for analysisOn first, second chapter, general information was given about the study. On third, fourth, fifth ,sixth chapter, the informations about steel structures, concentrically and eccentrically braces and also about the steel struructures which have braced members, according to Turkish Earthquake Code 2007. Seventh, eighth chapter is about analyse steps for different braced structures that are subject of this study. Ninth, tenth chapter is the final one, which includes analysis results and comments. Analysis and comments of the study have been made according to about, weight of the buildings, the earthquake forces from two direction both, displacements of elsatic and plastic analyze, and the ductility
