Abstract (EN)

The Marble Industry plays a significant role in both local and global economies. This sector involves the extraction, processing, and trade of natural stones and is a crucial component of economic development for many countries. Financial incentives are critical in supporting the growth and sustainability of this sector. This study examines the effects of financial incentives in the marble industry and their contributions to sectoral growth. Financial incentives enable businesses to increase capital investments, expand production capacities, and enhance their competitive strength. In developing countries, financial incentives targeting the marble industry can contribute to the diversification of the local economy and the reduction of unemployment rates. Turkey, with its rich natural stone reserves and advanced processing technologies, stands out as a leading country in this field. The financial incentives implemented across the country, particularly in Afyonkarahisar Province, have played a significant role in increasing the export volume of the sector and boosting its competitiveness in the global market. In conclusion, financial incentives in the marble industry not only support sectoral growth but also serve as a driving force for economic development. This study is expected to be a valuable resource for researchers and policymakers who seek to understand the role of financial incentives in the marble industry and assess their impacts.
