Abstract (EN)
The purpose of this study is to investigate effectiveness of clothing course in art and vocational trainig courses (SAMEK) depend on Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality. Survey method which is frequently used in social sciences has been used in the study. Percentage distributions of the data were examined, cross table and correlaton analyzes, Kruskal Wallis and Mann Whitney U tests were performed. After the conceptual framework was drawn in the first part, information about SAMEK was given and the literature review was provided on the adult education practices of the municipalities was searched in the second part. In the last part, analyzes have been made.on the effectiveness of SAMEK clothing branch courses. The hypothesis that "The scale of effectiveness shown differency according to marital status" is supported. The hypothesis that "The scale of effectiveness shown differency according to education status" is supported. The hypothesis that "The scale of effectiveness shown differency according to ages groups" is rejected. The scale of effectiveness hasn't shown a statistically significant difference according to ages. The hypothesis that "The scale of effectiveness shown differency according to marital status" is supported. The hypothesis that "Lesson assessment mean shown differency according to branches" is supported. The hypothesis that "Lesson assessment mean shown differency according to SAMEK centers" is supported. When result of the study was assessed as a whole, it was determined that the clothing course given at SAMEK provided the expected effectiveness from course.
