The aim of this research is to determine the opinions of the teachers working in vocational high schools regarding the experiences in the distance education process during the period of suspending face-to-face education and transitioning to distance education due to the pandemic. For this purpose, the qualitative method was followed in the research and the interview technique was applied. The study group of the research consists of 70 teachers working in vocational high schools. A semi-structured interview form was used as a data collection tool in the research. The semi-structured interview form was prepared to answer the sub-objectives and the questions were grouped under 4 sub-objectives. The obtained data were analyzed by content analysis. As a result of the analysis; The distance education model is perceived as inefficient in the realization of educational activities, access to technology is insufficient due to lack of financial opportunities, there are infrastructure deficiencies in distance education, teachers and students have problems in accessing technology, the EBA system partially meets the expectations of students and teachers in the distance education process, It has been concluded that the knowledge, experience and proficiency status about education is good, and the negative features are at the forefront while evaluating the positive and negative aspects of distance education.
