Evaluation of students opinions towards basic skill education effects that graduate students in vocational school experienced in business administrations

This study evaluation of students? opinions towards skill training effects are researched. The aim of this research is to determine students? opinions towards skill training effects. The scope of this research is on ten freshmen students who experienced skill training in business administration in 2005-2006 education period in vocational schools from different departments that are located in Sakarya city boundary. A poll has been applied to 250 students from 6 vocational schools that are included to this research. The data taken from the research has been analyzed by using SPSS program. According to the results of research ; business administration competents assist in vocational school students? individual skills. Business administration competent usually obeys the legal orders. The competents behave differently to students from the other personnel. The business administration where the students are going to work are mostly selected by their school. Students don?t find any difficulties to find business administrations in Sakarya region. Compared to vocational school students administration skill training has a great effect on students? personal progress. The duration of administration should be increased. The skills that students gain from the administrations is much more than their schools. Administrations give response to the students? worries about finding jobs in the future. Students have the chance to see the tools that they can?t see in their schools. The owner of the administration help students to use different tools and machines. Students? experiences about their profession increased. While most of the students take part in administrations about their field, few students take part in administrations that are not related with their field. Students who take part in administrations have problems in transportation. Theoretical knowledge is not given in most parts of administrations. Training in administrations are mostly given by skilled workmen. Students mostly change administrations between periods because of having lack of harmony with the administration personnel.
