Evaluation of problems and solution suggestions in vocational education centers according to the opinions of the manager, teacher, employer and student

Vocational education is one of the leading branches of education which has recently increased its effectiveness. The industrial and technological changes experienced also change the employee profile needed in the labor market. In addition to the required interest and talent, the employee features required to update itself continuously, to increase their knowledge, certification, to follow the technology requires to be able to reflect. In order to provide all these features together; the theoretical and practical training in the professional sense should be completed by selecting the profession in line with the interests and needs of the individual. The aim of this study is to determine and evaluate the problems experienced in vocational education centers and their solutions according to the opinions of the apprentice students studying in the vocational education center, the employer-master trainer who send the students to the vocational education center and the manager-teachers working in the vocational education center. The study group consisted of 50 students studying at Zonguldak Vocational Training Center, 25 employer-master instructors from different branches who sent students to the vocational training center and five managers and 15 teachers working in the vocational training center. As a result of the research; apprentice students in vocational training center; family, employer and working conditions. Employers were found to have difficulty adapting to changing apprentice student profiles, and in vocational training centers, they carried out studies for the solution and development of student problems. However, due to the lack of equipment and the state of the existing workshops, it was understood that the importance given to the vocational education by the State increased and studies were carried out in this direction.
