Abstract (EN)
In this study, evaluation of employment availability skills of vocational and technical education faculty alumni (VTEF) is made by employers. For this aim, between December 2009- February 2010, questions, which are related with alumni of Vocational and Technical Education faculties, are asked to companies administrators in Çorum and in Kayseri Organized Industrial Zone.Related with VTEF alumni ?Basic Skills?, ?Decision Skills?, ?Personal Qualifications?, ?Use the Sources?, ?Team Work and Team Relationship?, ?Reach The Information and Use the Information Skills? , ?System and Technology Skills? and ?Foreign Language Skills? totally 39 questions are asked to 40 administrators from Çorum Organized Industrial Zone (ÇOIZ) and 101 administrators from Kayseri Organized Industrial Zone ( KOIZ).The data obtained in this study whether showing normal distribution or not is checked with Kolmogorov Smirnov test. A significant difference between groups in the Kruskal-Wallis test was evaluated. According to Kruskal Wallis test results, multiple comparisons of significant groups were made with Dunn's test. To determine the independence between qualitative variables, Exact and Monte Carlo methods of chi-square analysis was used. P <0.05 was considered statistically significant.In the Study, managers found VTEF graduate employees skill?s quite adequate except that ?Foreign Language Skills?.According to surveyed managers ?Education Skills?, the answers which are given some sub-scales of VTEF employment availability skill are seen different with statistically.Research is included survey sent to ÇOIZ and KOIZ?s companies? managers between the dates of December 2009 - February 2010.
