Abstract (EN)
The change in the economic life after the industrial revolution led to a change in social and cultural life and brought about fundamental changes in education systems especially in the last century due to the effect of globalization. As a result of these developments, new professions have come into existence, and some professions have ceased to exist, and the education system has started to take shape in line with the needs of the labour market. As a result of the change in population structure, manpower planning has gained importance in countries. While planning manpower, which is of great importance for the balance of labour supply and demand, importance has to be given not only to the requirements of the labour market but also to the talents, competencies, skills and desires of individuals as a social being. Therefore, while people are guided to specific professions, they should be guided according to their needs and the labour market's needs. In this context, we will evaluate the manpower planning, education systems and vocational guidance practices of Germany, Finland, Denmark and England. In this study, whether the success of vocational education in Germany is reflected in its vocational guidance, whether the success of the general education of Finland is reflected in its vocational guidance, and whether the structure in the UK, which is a country where private and governmental institutions work jointly, is a sound structure and Denmark, which is considered to have the most advanced vocational guidance system in Europe, is examined.
