Abstract (EN)
In this study, the risk analysis methods used in the metal forming and welding sectors will be compared. First, the materials and methods which are defined in the law of occupational health and safety will be introduced. Then the concepts of job security and risk analysis will be examined in detail. After the discussion on occupational accidents, safe and dangerous situations, and the conditions that require risk analysis, the legal issues will be considered and legal regulations regarding to occupational health and safety. Four basic risk analysis methods that will be used in the study will be introduced and a comparison will be made with respect to these methods. Finally, the findings of the study will be examined in order to decide whether these findings are consistent with the previous studies. After creating the conceptual framework, the main risk analysis methods that will be used in the comparison, namely L-type matrix analysis, Fine-Kinney method, Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) and finally Hazard and Operability Analysis (HAZOP) methods will be evaluated in the following fields of metal and welding sector: smelting and refining, welding and cutting, machining, industrial oils and metalworking fluids, sanding and polishing, foundry, forging and pressing, metal surfaces and metal recycling.
