Metalik implantlar üzerine CaP kaplamaların elektroforetik çöktürme yöntemi ile üretimi ve karakterizasyonu

Titanium and its alloys are choosed metals for load resistant biomaterials and the features of Titanium is significant variable in medical form. Surface alteration are broadly used to regulate the features of titanium surface to the special needs of the medicinal operations. Several Calcium Phosphate coating method has been used as plasma spray, biomimetic deposition, sol-gel, electrochemical deposition and electrophoretic deposition. The electrophoretic deposition coating technique has a different of advantages for instance process at low temperature, ability to coati on spongy or complex shape of implant, low cost and easiness of coating dimension control. However, agglomeration of Calcium Phosphate powder in suspension adversely affect the morphology of the coating. In this study surface modification was performed on Titanium alloy plates (substrates) by electrophoretic deposition (EPD) method. The aim of the study is to research the effect of type of dispersant on structure and morphology of produced Calcium Phosphate coatings. The size distribution and zeta potential of the Calcium Phosphate particles in suspension were determined by a zeta-sizer. Phase analysis, chemical characterizations and morphological characterizations of the Calcium phosphate depositions were determined by using X-ray Diffraction (XRD), Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) and Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), respectively. The corrosion behavior of the CaP coatings were determined by a electrochemical characterization method.
