Abstract (EN)
Background The aim of this study was to investigate the prognostic factors contributing to overall survival in metastatic colorectal cancer. Methods Clinicopathologic data of 140 metastatic colorectal cancer patients admitted to the Department of Medical Oncology at Inonu University Medical Faculty between January 2010 and October 2015 were retrospectively reviewed. Results Factors affecting the overall survival of patients in our study were: lymphatic invasion status of patients, lymph node involvement level, progression by TNM, adjuvant chemotherapy status, and diagnosis of metastasis status as a factor affecting the prognosis.. Conclusıon We believe that considering the factors such as lymphatic invasion status, lymph node involvement level, TNM stage, adjuvant chemotherapy status and diagnosis stage metastasis will increase the long-term survival probability when planning and follow-up of patients
