Abstract (EN)
Custom dual carriageway to İstanbul in other transportation modes in terms of capacity and speed performance exemplary Metrobüs system, various improvements need to be made in the changing capacity led to the requirement. In the city of Istanbul, approximately 950 thousand passengers are transported in BRT system per day. In this system, the return of benefit increases in terms of number of passengers and operating costs asymmetrically as the improvements takes place. In this study, a mathematical model has been proposed for the development of business plans Metrobüs. The model has been evaluated on different business scenarios for idle capacity, number of voyages, mileage and cost minimization purposes. The results of the scenario compared in order to work with the highest benefit of the Metrobus line. It has been shown that significant improvements can be achieved in operating costs with the help of the proposed model.
