Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, the Çirmiş Bridge with three spans, prestressed beams and reinforced concrete structure, located in the Şiran District of Gümüşhane, whose model reliability is determined by the superstructure design principles within the framework of AASHTO and other regulations accepted in Turkey, is discussed. The Çirmiş Bridge, which has a reinforced concrete structure, is discussed. Three different analyzes of this bridge model were carried out with the SAP 2000 program: linear static, nonlinear construction phase analysis and nonlinear construction phase analysis in time history. In addition, the structural performance level of the bridge was determined by determining the allowed rotation limits in the building elements according to the performance targets. As a result of static and non-linear construction phase analyzes, the bridge deck length and cross-section effects and displacement values were compared and the importance of time-dependent material deformations and construction time was examined. By comparing the results of nonlinear construction phase analysis and nonlinear construction phase analysis in the time history carried out within the framework of the Turkish Building Earthquake Code, the displacements occurring in the bridge deck length and mid pier height and the cross-section effect diagrams were examined. The nonlinear construction phase analysis results in the time history yielded higher cross-sectional effects and displacement values in the building elements compared to the nonlinear construction phase analysis results. Since our country is located in an active fault zone, bridge designs need to be dynamically analyzed using real acceleration records in the time history domain.
