Mevlana Halid-i Baghdadi's work called risale-i fî Isbâti'r Rabita

When we look at the history of rabita, an ancient mystical practice, we see that it has changed over time or that some orders have their own practices. In the early periods, the perspective on rabita was generally a method of self-discipline, but this idea began to show some differences in terms of both form and application, especially after the 19th century with Mevlana Halid-i Baghdadi. Up until this period, there was no serious criticism or opposition or total disregard for rabita. This difference in practice caused the ideas against rabita to change and created a situation of opposition, criticism and criticism. Works were also written as a response to internal and external criticism, especially in the Naqshbandi Order. The most important of these works is Mevlana Halid-i Baghdadi's Risale fî Isbâti'r-Râbıta. The author wrote his work specifically to eliminate the confusion of his disciples in Istanbul. The work in question is important in terms of understanding the rabita practices after the 19th century.
