Abstract (EN)

Mevlana who lived in the 13th century, was enlightened and reached maturity with mainly asceticism and mysticism, the efforts of his master and friend "Şems" is an important opinion leader, poet and mystic well-known with his deep thoughts and poems that we could just find the all beauties and secrets of the meaning not only in the territories he was born and grew up but also all around the world, also attaining the love of the sultans, scholars and the people in the period that he lived in. Sufism is generally considered as Islamic mysticism while sufi is a person who tries to reach God in this field. The sufi who has a path in mysticism reaches to a rank by enduring many difficulties in various situations Although there are many studies on sufism and the works of Mevlana, the lack of a study examining the sufistic ranks in the rubaies of Mevlana paved the way for the preparation of our thesis. In this study, it was tried to determine in what rank the rubaies were told by Mevlana who was a poet nourished and growing up with mysticism, with reference to the work Matıku't Tayr. Our thesis consists of five sections. The introduction in the first section; the life of Mevlana Celaleddin Rumi in the second section; rubaie as a type of verse, Mevlana's rubaies and the studies on Mevlana's rubaies in the third section; Sufism, the sources of sufistic ranks in Mevlana's rubaies, the sufistic ranks in Feridüddin Attar's work, Mantıku't Tayr and the sufistic ranks in rubaies in the fourth section have been examined and a conclusion has been made in the fifth section. Thus, this study is aimed to be the source for the researches to be done on the subject of Mevlana and sufistic ranks in the Mevlana's rubaies.
