Abstract (EN)

Power Flow Analysis in Micro Grids Technological developments, causes a disadvantage like daily equipments' getting more sensitive besides the advantages that they are getting smaller and faster. It is necessary to take network based precautions instead of individual ones while most of the loads on a network are sensitive loads. As a result of this necessity, the micro grid concept has emerged to reduce the effects of outrages and faults which occur at interconnected network on sensitive loads. Micro grids are hybrid structures that consist of the integration of usual energy plants and renewable energy sources. The use of micro grids increasing rapidly, in order to they can be easily implemented for supplying qualified and uninterruptable energy to specific regions. Because of their containing various energy sources and loads, they should be analyzed for different operating and loading conditions as large power systems. In this thesis, power flow analysis of a micro grid is performed by a designed artificial neural network. The obtained results are compared with the results of the same system's conventional Gauss – Seidel based software analysis and the success of neural network is studied. The proposed method can be used for power flow analysis which has vital importance for micro grid design without the necessity of iterative methods. Key Words: Power Flow Analysis, Micro Grids, Artificial Neural Networks, Renewable Energy Sources
