Özet (EN)

In this study, the microwave synthetic method in accordance with the principles of Green Chemistry was applied for purpose of synthesis of metal-organic framework "MOF" or coordination polymeric compounds. For this purpose, vanadium compounds reacted with 1,4-cyclohexanedicarboxylic acid ligand under different reaction conditions. The compound with suggested molecular formula of [VO(C6H10(COO)2)] was synthesized by using the microwave synthetic method. The compound was compared with the compound synthesized by hydrothermal synthetic method by the physical characteristic features, elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, TGA, XRD powder pattern, manganometric titration and the room temperature magnetic susceptibility measurement results. As a result of the comparisons, the compound could be synthesized by hydrothermal and microwave synthetic methods. But the main product in the microwave synthetic methods, [VO(C6H10(COO)2)] compound, was not completely purified due to solubility problems of side product(s) (colorless microcrystalline organic compound(s)). Moreover, vanadium-cyclohexane-1,4-dicarboxylic acid ligand system might contain other new vanadium cyclohexane-1,4-dicarboxylate compounds. Overall result of this study, more work on the development of the metal-ligant system is suggested to synthesize new vanadium cyclohexane-1,4-dicarboxylate compounds. Key Words: Vanadium, Green Chemistry, Coordination Polymer, Microwave Synthetic Method, Hydrothermal Synthetic Method, 1,4-Cyclohexanedicarboxylic Acid
