Thesis)Abdullah ORMANGAZI UNIVERSITYINSTUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGYJuly 2005ABSTRACTIn this thesis a microcontrolled elevator model utilizing serial datatransmission study has been implemented. The implemented designprovides an alternative for the complex wiring systems required forcommunication in the existing elevators. Different programs have beengenerated for the elevators with different standards so that this systemcan be used in all elevator systems. The codes have been written in Clanguage for PIC programmers. The designed circuit has been tested inthe laboratory and in the real environment.
