Abstract (EN)
Certain input arguments are changed by certain operations in processes. There are somenatural processes, which operates by stand alone, but some processes, which is wanted tooperates by us, needs to a controller system and forced power for operating. These typesprocesses need to a controller system, which controlls the operations of process step by stepfor operating truely. In this study, we tried to develop a controller system for taking under thecontroll to acedic acid (acid) and sodium hydroxide (base) pH neutralization process, whichcan be tought a sample of waste water PH neutralization process. In this way, waste water willbe given to nature back again at neutral position.Actually, well known controller systems, which are called conventional controller systems,are P, PI, PD and PID. But conventional controller systems are not successful enough forcontrolling to non-linear systems, which likes PH neutralization process.In a few last year, fuzzy logic controllers and neural network basis controllers, which are builton artificial intellegence basis, are placed first in importance. Instead of using these typescontrollers lonely, dominant aspects of these controllers can be combined in a controller body,that can be seen in this project. According to traditional controller systems, new type oneshave been more succesfull for controlling to non-linear systems.On the other way, we used to microcontrollers, that one of them is running to like a cell of thiscontroller, for transferring neuro-fuzzy controller software from computer to operation area.In this way, we set to free to this controller from computer and now it can operate to standalone in the system. Another assistance of this project to world of controllers is that thesetypes controllers (artificial intelligence based controllers) will be used to more effectivelythan in the past. Because microcontrollers will reduce to cost of artificial intelligence basedcontroller systems.Statements, which are placed rest of writing, make clear that two main parts are placed in thisstudy. The first main part includes Matlab/Simulink workings, which will be basis products ofstudy for hardware system design. With the way of this one, we could find easily to codepoints of the projcect and we could transfer the controller data from computer to hardwareenvironment. And we need to learn that this project is feasibil or not. For the reason of thisone, computer simulations were done. In addition, that conventional control techniques andnew controller will be compared on each other with the way of simulations. We used Matlabfor simulations of the study, because controllers can be projected and simulated easily at thissoft tool. The second main part of project includes hardware components, which constitute tobody of new controller. Finally, simulations and result of hardware runnings were comparedon each other. And successful results were obtained.That results were encountured; -artificial intelligence based controllers were carried fromcomputers to microcontrollers, -in this way, usage of new type controllers will be increased,- well known result, that artificial intellegence based controllers are more succesful than theconventional controllers on controlling to non-linear systems, were encountered again in thisstudy.Keywords: Artificial intellgence, Fuzzy logic control, Neural Networks, PH neutralizationprocess, Acid (acetic acid), Base (sodium hydroxide), Microcontroller.
