Abstract (EN)
As in the example of temperature control application carried out in this study, in order to achieve an effective digital control system, it is required to develop control algorithms appropriate for the process dynamics and, to modify and update the controller parameters easily. The proposed block diagram compiler generates a simplified difference equation corresponding to the designed PID block diagram every time it is compiled and then downloads to the microprocessor selected. In this thesis, a block diagram compiler editor is introduced, which presents a graphical user interface to perform control experiments conveniently. The compiler allows the user to draw the block diagram of a digital processor, e.g. a controller or filter, desired to be implemented, then converts it to the corresponding z-domain pulse transfer function and the difference equation. It simplifies the difference equation obtained before it downloads to the microprocessor. The compiler also displays the input and out variables changing over time.
