Abstract (EN)
This thesis presents the design of a mobile wearable vest equipped with microcontroller-controlled Micro-Electromechanical Systems (MEMS) based sensors. All the studies and measurements in the thesis were conducted through the model. The sensors can be personalized and positioned on the back and shoulder areas of the vest. The vest is capable of detecting the user's poor posture and recording inclination changes through the sensors. The recorded data can be received by the microcontroller and used in computer software and mobile applications for interpretation. To ensure accurate and stable operation, various scenarios were studied. These scenarios involved examining sensor data changes in both horizontal and vertical planes. As a result of these studies, correct and healthy posture was determined based on sensor data and reference information. The vest is intended for use in monitoring spinal health and detecting posture disorders. By utilizing mobile usage, the vest raises awareness of healthy posture in the user, helping them take preventive measures against potential permanent posture disorders. The conclusion is that a wearable and mobile-compatible vest will benefit human spinal health by making posture control and monitoring easier. The aim is to facilitate early diagnosis and improvement of physical ailments in the spinal structure.
