Abstract (EN)

The increase of energy consumption leads to the decrease of the existing energy sources. Due to restructuring of energy transmission – distribution lines, density of energy consumption causes power outages. To provide energy source diversity, increase efficiency in power system and avoid power outages, distributed energy resources (DER) has become popular in electric power system. A couple of DER's, energy storage units and loads has emerged with microgrid concept. This concept can operate both grid mode and island mode. Microgrids are the ability to island. When any fault or outage occured in microgrid system, to transite from grid mode to island mode, it is made islanding detection. On the other hand, to interconnect from island mode to grid connected mode, it is made synchronization. Thus, energy sustainability and reliability is provided in the power system. It also increases energy efficieny by reducing transmission - distribution line losses. In this study, microgrid inverter which has 5 kW supply capacity has been modelled with MATLAB/Simulink environment. From grid mode to island mode transite and from island mode to grid mode transite have been investigated. In these two operating state; current, voltage, active and reactive power, frequency and harmonic distortion of the a load terminals voltage and current transferred to grid have been investigated.
