Abstract (EN)

İzmir province, which is in the first-degree earthquake zone, has a great importance in terms of seismic risk studies. As a result of the studies carried out in the past years to examine the local ground conditions in Bayraklı District, which is in the east of İzmir. Bayraklı, it has been determined that the effect of the earthquake on the structures may be very large. One of the most important non-destructive methods used in the determination of the structure-ground relationship is the microtremor method. With the help of this method, the dominant vibration period, especially on the desired floors of the building or on the ground, can be determined with great precision. Within the scope of this study, microtremor measurements were taken for 40 minutes on each floor in Folkart Tower A Block. It is aimed to determine the possible resonance risk by evaluating these collected data together with the data taken outside the buildings and representing the local ground condition. H/V curves were obtained with the HVSR method using Geopsy software. In addition, the effects of all three components (N-S, D-W, Vertical) were interpreted by obtaining their spectra, which were analyzed separately. The dominant vibration period of each floor of the building has been determined. In addition, structural strength analysis was carried out using the largest horizontal acceleration values created by two different earthquakes that occurred in 2017 and 2020 in Bayraklı. When the results obtained were evaluated, it was concluded that the building was constructed in accordance with the static project, the measured building periods were compatible with the project, and all floors were resistant to the greatest horizontal acceleration values.
