Education and culture programs of Milli Görüş Parties

The aim of this research is to observe the education and culture programs of Milli Görüş Parties, having an authentic political culture in the history of Turkish politics, in the frames of religion, politics, education and culture from the view of political sociology, to determine the changes in political process and state the role of political socialization, and to assess to what extent the collective consciousness of religious part of Turkey reflect on politics.This research is approached with historical and conceptual method based on literature review. With the historical and conceptual method research, various periods in a process are observed in their own conjectures and evaluated by conceptual analysis. According to this, the research is constituted by gathering the analysis based on quantitative data.The research begins with analysis of basic concepts of political sociology and analysis of the estimated content of determined subject. The research is stated with a historical frame within the scope of Milli Görüş Parties, such as Milli Nizam Party, Milli Selamet Party, Refah Party, Fazilet Party and Saadet Party. And then the research analysis is evaluated by the borders of these stated parties? party programs, declarations of election, posters and slogans, coalition protocols, government programs and policies. In the direction of determined aim the parties are divided into periods chronologically to state the periodical differences and to get the coherence and each period is analyzed in itself as well.In conclusion, it is observed that Milli Görüş Parties moving with traditional political culture have some changes in their education and culture programs by form, style and content in the historical process.Key Words: Political socialization, politics, education, culture, Milli Görüş.
