National Library National Manuscripts Collection manuscripts with fixture number 06 Mil Yz A 5429 (Introduction-analysis-transcribed text-index)

In this study, it is aimed to analyze the language of Hibetullah Gözcü b. İbrahim's work named "Terceme-i Baytarname" written in Old Anatolian Turkish. The whole of the work, which is the subject of the study, has 62 leaves. Between leaves 1b-6b is about veterinary books, and between leaves 7a-62b is about a medical book. The part on the Baytarname is incomplete from the end. In the study, it is aimed to examine the work in terms of language features. In addition, information about the period in which it was written, its author, veterinarion, and medical books were mentioned and detailed explanations were made about the content of the work. The transcripted text, index and facsmile sections were included in the following parts of the study. With this study, on of the medical books and veterinary translations written in the Anatolian field was brought into the literature; it is aimed to present a wealth of data to research related to the Turkish language
