The construction and perspective in the historical novels of Mim Kemal Öke

The purpose of this research is to examine the historical novels authored by Mim Kemal Öke, a writer and academician. Historical fiction is one of the most popular literary genres. Mim Kemal Öke, a history and economics graduate, integrates his knowledge with his novels to transmit it to the reader. One of the most notable characteristics of historical novels is their ability to appeal to a diverse audience in terms of ideology and philosophy. Through his works, the writer, who is a nationalist and conservative thinker who is also interested in Sufism, displays his own thoughts and historical consciousness. The research is divided into three sections. The historical book concept is briefly assessed in the first half. The author's life, Sufism's intellection, the mediatic element of him, and his works are explored in the second section. The third section establishes the study's and author's primary lines in terms of plot, time, environment, characters, point of view and narrator, language and style, narrative techniques, and perspective.
