In-between space concept through the review of architectural parallax

As "in-between concept" can be examined in many aspects, it also appears in architecture by gaining a new identity with the roles which are achieved at the phase of lifestyles, their descriptions and interpretations. Since the existence of the human beings in-between space has been a concept which is occurred as a result of a consciously or unconsciously production. In today's architecture with the effect of capitalism some architectural concepts has become to the phase of losing their meanings; the ontology in architecture is shattered radically in the actual practises of real life. The architectural product is turned into a general and ordinary meta instead of being one and only object. In this transformation, the perception of "in-between space" has changed too and with this perception, in-between spaces have been a part of the misidentifications; however as in-between spaces can provide the contiguities, communications and interractions within the hidden dynamism of the meanings they maintain also they have big roles to build up the space-temporal continuities. In-between spaces should be dealt with the "parallax concept" for showing their potentials inside and digressing the looking of "remaining space from the conscious production" to them. In many areas, as parallax concept has been a cognitive basis from visual arts to the astrology, religion to philosophy, physics to sociology; it has found a new identity to itself being supported with Zizec's "architectural parallax" definitions in architecture too. In this study, in-between spaces' limitlessness and its being out of the rules are emphasized; in-between spaces formations are explained through the concepts like distinction, identity, contiguity, assocation with the different point of views. In addition to this in-between places which are interpreted through the parallax are commented in the process and in these processes, the meanings which in-between places have gained or have lost, are examined. Approaching a design holistically examines the presentation of different experiences which are experienced by the people living in those places and the desire of architecture. What Zizec says: " Take soft steps when you made your plans, because are walking on the dreams of people who will live in your buildings and look to your buildings" gives the exact message that should be given.
