Architecture-ideology relationship and analysis of form in religious buildings

The source of the development and change of today's life is provided by the increase in the intellectual dimensions of the individual and the generation of ideas in this direction. The concept of ideology, which occurs with the intellectual dimensions of the individual, can be seen in every field in our daily life as well as in the field of architecture. This scope of work; The interaction of architecture and ideology phenomena with each other has been studied through religious structures. The reason for choosing to work on religious structures in this direction is that the ideology is for the society, and the religious structures that express a certain idea with the structure also show a similar purpose. The purpose of the thesis is that in this thesis, in which the relationship between Architecture and Ideology is shown over religious structures, the Conservative idea, which was determined to provide information, was examined with 8 examples on the basis of Corrective, Revolutionary and Contrasting general ideologies, and the form analysis and evaluation of a total of 32 building samples were made comparatively. The study consists of five chapters and information is provided in the General Information section regarding the concept of Architecture and Ideology. In the section of the Studies conducted, the sample group was determined, information was provided about the criteria to be used in the analysis of these structures, and an analysis table was created. In the findings section, the samples grouped under four general ideology headings were analyzed. In the Discussions section, the data obtained as a result of the analysis were compiled and the sample groups were evaluated comparatively. Finally, in the Results and Recommendations section, the transfer of information about the analysis and evaluations was emphasized and suggestions related to the study were given.
