Özet (EN)

?Architecture without Architect?, which has developed within the historical process in parallel to the architecture by experts, has been analysed in terms of its development and changes. Before starting to study Architecture without Architect; a description of how architecture has been shaped from past to present has been made in order to emphasise that architectural formation has developed within the context of continuity. Architecture has been evaluated in two stages; namely, that in the world and that in Turkey. The first stage was focused on the approaches of Global Architecture that started with caves and huts, that is with Architecture without Architect, and that has reached the present day within the framework of a cultural continuity. The second stage is about Turkish architecture after Ottoman Empire. Architecture without Architect has been addressed under two subtitles, such as in the World and in Turkey. Since Architecture without Architect in the World is a very comprehensive subject, this section includes terms related with and approaches to Architecture without Architect. Architecture without Architect in Turkey has been addressed in more detail and classified as ?Traditional? and ?Current?. Within the scope of Buildings of Traditional Architecture without Architect, buildings manually created by the public as a result of cultural continuity (vernacular, indigeneous, traditional, etc.) have been reviewed; whereas within the scope of Current Architecture without Architect, squatter houses, apartment blocks that have been built by contractor for selling and type project structures have been reviewed. Buildings features and formation processes have been described and factors affecting the formation of shapes have been identified. Factors have been classified as natural and socio-cultural environment factors and it has been discussed whether they were effective on the formation of the Buildings of Traditional and Current Architecture without Architect. In order to investigate the data obtained from literature, a fieldwork has been carried out in Alagöz village of Kigı town in Bingöl. The Buildings of Traditional and Current Architecture without Architect in the field and the factors affecting their formation have been comparatively evaluated. In conclusion, it was stated that the natural and socio-cultural environmental factors that have influenced the formation of the Buildings of Traditional Architecture without Architect did in general not influence the Buildings of Current Architecture without Architect and this result was verified by the fieldwork. Keywords: Architecture, Architecture without Architect, Natural Environmental Factors, Socio-Cultural Environment Factors, Bingöl-Kigı-Alagöz Village.
