Abstract (EN)

The objective of this study is to determine the effect to wood surface properties of some extracts. In this study, mimosa (Acacia mollissima), and quebracho (Schinopsis lorentzii) were tested as impregnation material. These extracts were used to impregnate beech (Fagus orientalis L.) wood specimens. Following the impregnation, the wood specimens were coated with polyurethane, cellulosic and water based varnishes. The finished specimens were exposed a QUV accelerated weathering tester for measuring surface adhesion resistance, surface roughness, hardness, scratch resistance, and color volues. Impregnation process made from extracts was effected negativelly of surface adhesion resistance, surface roughness, hardness. Colar changes were rised with higher consentration levels of extracts. The polyurethane varnish has positive effect in the all surfaces tests, when the investigation of diferences between varnish species. While the colar and surface roughness were negativelly effected with accelerated weathering process, surface adhesion resistance, hardness and scratch resistance were the most positivelly effected with accelerated weathering for 100 hours.
