Abstract (EN)
In this study, the effects of innovative partial and quarter spherical obstacle configurations on the thermohydraulic performance of a mini-channel heat sink are numerically investigated. For this purpose, numerical studies were carried out for 5 different refrigerant flow rates between 0.0025 kg/s and 0.0045 kg/s for 4 different geometries. The numerical studies were carried out with ANSYS Fluent 2021 R2 software. The effects of different configurations on the velocity and temperature fields, average Nusselt Number, and coefficient of performance of the heat sink were examined. When the results are analyzed, it is determined that the cooling performance of the heat sink increases as the flow rate increases, and the obstacles in the channel significantly affect the heat transfer characteristics.
