Cohesion in Mirze Elekber Sabir's "Hophopname"

İn this study done with the aim of revealing the usage possibilities of the language on which there are various working opportunities. Mirze Elekber Sabir's one of the most important poets of Azerbaijan Literature satire texts taking part in Hophop Name have been revealed. Because of these reasons, we have found an opportunity of working linguistics over the satire texts and tried to reveal that language and literature are two components completing each other. The poet is very important in terms of demonstrating the social structure of that period's Azerbaijan society by his poems adressing each layer of the society and he is also a milestone of Azerbaijan Literature. At the introduction part of our work, some information has been given about the poet, the period he lived, Molla Nasreddin magazine and the topics of satire texts. For a beter understanding of the analysis, various explanations have been done by giving information about the evolution of linguistics and text linguistics before the stage of satire texts analysis. At the analysis stage of our examination texts, various classifications have been done about the cohesion elemants frequently available in the texts. Satire textshave been examined under the titles of anaphora, time and made elliptical structures and linking elements. At the end of our study, with the aim of increasing the intelligibility of the texts, adictionary has been prepared including mainly Arabic and Persion words of the examination texts.
