Abstract (EN)

The life, works, the scientist personality, the educational and special educational opinion and tecniques of Mitat Enç, who is the best importart person in the field of special education in Turkey, has been researched in this thesis.Mitat Enç has an important place in the field of special education in Turkey as a researched scientist, educationalist and administrator. This situation is obviously seen both through his speechs at symposiums, panels and discussions arranged for scientific, administrative and other purposes, the discussions he has joined, his practical succession presentations, his opinions, criticism, scientific-metodical evoluations and results in his articles and books; and through a research of his evalutions and tecniques he has presented to superior administative officials with other experts.The main aim of his study is to research the educational opinion and practices of Mitat Enç and compare them with the current ones.The life style and practices of Mitat Enç are important at the point of being able to asist the people who are at a decisive position in the field of education and who direct current practices.This thesis study has been tried to be carried out at that extent and it is aimed to offer a solution to the following studies if it becomes successful.This research has been carried out of years. Appropriate for the aim of the research, in order to collect data, historical method - one of the general scanning methods has been used. Filed transcript scanning has been done and Mitat Enç?s life style and educational opinion has been tried to be determined.Under these conditions, the existing data has been researched and Mitat Enç?s own thoughts and printed writings have been considered and the synthesis has been reached.
