In this study, fruit flies Euaresta bullans (Wiedemann, 1830) that belongs to (Diptera: Tephritidae) which was collected from 7 different provinces in Turkey (Amasya, Çorum, Kahramanmaraş, Kayseri, Samsun, Sinop, Yozgat) a genetic analysis of the samples was done. In this context, 101 adult specimens were evaluated based on the mitochondrial cytochrome oxidase I (COI) gene region. 79 successful samples from the sequence products were analyzed and 17 haplotypes were identified. Calculating nucleotide ratios of fruit flies populations (C: 16.7%; T: 38.93%; A: 29.05% and G: 15.8%) It was observed that the base compounds were oriented towards Adenine and Thymine. As a result of the study, the genetic distance between populations was found to be 0.09% - 0.046%. This shows that the genetic variation among individuals of the Euaresta bullans species is at very low levels. According to the neutrality test (Tajima's D and Fu's Fs), result was p<0.05 and this determines that the populations showes strong spread. Although they have spread in different habitat characteristics and different geographic regions, but they show similarity rate between populations. In particular, the high dependence of the host and the presence of the host in different environments is related to the wide tolerance of this species in terms of environmental difference. Finally, it was found that gene inheritance between Euaresta bullans populations was continued and not related to any geographic and ecological barrier and exponentially increased.
