Abstract (EN)
Myocardial infarction is one of the leading causes of cardiovascular death worldwide. It is characterized by the inability to supply adequate oxygen to the heart muscle due to sudden blockage of the coronary arteries. This condition can lead to irreversible damage to the heart muscle and can significantly affect the quality of life of patients. The role of biochemical markers in the diagnosis and prognosis of myocardial infarction is crucial. Proteins such as troponin, creatine kinase-MB, and lactate dehydrogenase, as well as inflammatory markers like C-reactive protein, are among the commonly used parameters in the diagnosis of myocardial infarction. This study evaluates the biochemical test results of patients who have experienced myocardial infarction, investigating their relationship with disease severity and prognosis. Additionally, the relationship between changes in the levels of these biochemical markers and clinical outcomes has been examined. The results obtained have been discussed in comparison with studies in the literature, emphasizing the critical role of biochemical markers in the management of myocardial infarction.
