The function of mobile learning on students

Nowadays, with the developing technology ,more people have the chance of benefitting from the learning practises in a shorter period of time, compared to the past. The developments in technology reflect the mobile technology as well. The advances in mobile technology are started to be used to make the learning more effective. The means of mobile instruction create a learning environment to the users without any time and place limitation. Moreover, it is thought that in the internet based remote education systems, developing the learning environment and facilities for the common mobile means like mobile phone and increasing the usability of these vehicles provide the learners with a facilitative atmosphere where they share their ideas.The purpose of this work is to determine the function of mobile learning, which is increased to be used due to the great advances in technology and education technology, by taking the opinions of students.The questionnaire used in this survey is conducted to the third fourth class students of SAU Education Faculty in BOTE department, and the findings are analyzed with SPSS 17 (Statistical Package for Social Sciences).The findings of the research indicate that while the attitudes of the students on mobile learning do not show serious differences on the variations of sex and class levels, the learners? behaviours change in a great extend on the variation of using the means of mobile instruction so as to learn.
