Abstract (EN)
Especially in wireless communication links, typical inter-symbol interference (ISI) channels have to be equalized for more reliable communication. It is well known that the optimal equalizer type is maximum likelihood sequence equalizer (MLSE), however complexity of MLSE increases exponentially with the channel memory length (M^L ) which makes this equalizer almost impossible to implement. Instead of MLSE, some other solutions such as Zero Forcing (ZF) Equalizers, Minimum Mean Square Error (MMSE) Equalizers and Decision Feedback Equalizers (DFE) have been developed. In this paper we introduced the performance analysis of this equalization methods with known combining techniques as Selection Combining(SC), Equal Gain Combining (EGC) and Maximal Ratio Combining (MRC). Also an Interference Cancelation (IC) technique which is introduced in [1] is applied to equalized symbols.
