Modeling wave propagation in piezoelectric materials

This thesis is related with initial value problems (IVPs) for solving partial differential equations and systems describing wave propagations in acoustic media and piezoelectric materials. The analytic method developed in papers Yakhno ,V.G and Akmaz H.K (2005 a, 2005 b, 2006) was applied for finding explicit formulae of IVPs solutions for 2-D wave equation, 3-D wave equation and the system of piezoelectricity. Using these formulae the computer simulations of wave propagations inside acoustic media and piezoelectric materials have been made.
