Özet (EN)
The increase in the population in the world has led to the development and more widespread use of the technology used. This increased the demand for electrical energy. Although the first solution that comes to mind is the establishment of new generation facilities to meet the increasing energy demand, it is not the most efficient method. Therefore, it is important to use existing sources more efficiently. Flexible Alternating Current Transmission System (FACTS) devices have been developed based on efficiency principle. Phase Shift Transformers, which are a series FACTS device, are preferred by the system operators for their advantages. Phase Shifter Transformers have many types according to desired regulation type and system conditions. In this study, Two Core Asymmetric Phase Shifter Transformers with relatively few examples in the literature are examined. A mathematical model is obtained for Two Core Asymmetric PST. Two Core Asymmetric PST is applied in IEEE 9 bus system in MATLAB program and changes in transferred power are examined.
