Abstract (EN)

Abdullah el- Habeşî was born too Muslim family in Herer in Abyssinion in 1910. It is noticed that after his first aducation in the city he was born, he traveled to different cities and regions in Abyssinion to learn wisdom and science. After his educationsand journeys, he became known around Ethopia and Somali, which was the reoson that he was respected as mufti of Herer. As Habeşi's thought were mostly contrary to the political structure at that time, he was suspended by the Abyssinion King in 1947. After he come to Beirut in 1950, he was accepted as a sheikh by the branch Office of Azhar University in Lebenon, where he gained a serious crowd of supportes and started his activities and spread his ideas. Getting fame as the sheikh and leader oof Ahbaş Congregation, Habeşi died in his house in Beirut at the age of 98 on 2 September 2008. Habeşi indicated that he himself and his congrehation were members of people of Sunnah and followed a different way than the extreme violence discourse of jihadi/Islamic groups which drew than reachion by these groups. The Congregation continues its activities through associations in Lebonon and diffirent countries in the world. In Turkey, th congregation continue its activities under the leadership of Hıdır Yeşilyurt, by presenting the Turkish translation of Habeşi's book and revealinghis ideas. The Congregation is trying to increase its number of supporters with preceeding its activities through different broad casting organisations and associations.
