Abstract (EN)

Keywords: dyestuff, adsorption, adsorbent, montmorillonite mineral, modified, adsorption isotherm, adsorption kinetics. In this study, removal of dyes which are formed in industrial and other industrial and other industrial wastewater and which become a serious threat to the nature of the montmorillonite mineral were investigated by the adsorption removing the malachite green dyestuff binding the iron metal and the adsorption isotherms and kinetics of montmorillonite mineral. By changing the structure of the montmorillonite mineral by changing the characteristic properties of the iron bonding process has been turned into a more effective adsorbent. In the studies, the effect of pH, adsorbent dose, temperature, contact time and initial concentration on the adsorption were investigated and the adsorption results were investigated and the adsorption results were applied to Langmuir and Freundlich isotherm kinetic equations. It was observed that the temperature did not have any effect and the maximum adsorption capacity was determined to be compatible with Langmuir adsorption isotherm. As a result of isotherm and kinetic investigations, it was applied to Langmuir equation which is a monolayer adsorption model explaining chemisorption of adsorption with modified montmorillonite mineral. Montmorillonite mineral used in the study is both low cost and high efficiency in adsorption process is very important.
