Matrix summability and korovkin type approximation theorem on modular spaces

This thesis consists of three chapters.The first chapter has been devoted to the introduction.In the second chapter, some general information about summability and positive linear operators has been recalled and some known results concerning these concept have also been considered.In the first section of the third chapter, classical Korovkin type theorems have been given and an example providing conditions of this theorem has been given. In the second section, the basic concepts in modular spaces have been recalled and some known results concerning these concepts and examples have also been considered. In this spaces convergences have been recalled and relationships betweeen these have been investigated. In the third section using a matrix summability method Korovkin type approximation theorem has been studied in modular spaces and results concerning this theorem have been given. Conditions of this theorem have been applied for special operator.
