Abstract (EN)

In order to determine the organochlorine pesticides in Mogan Lake, totally 9 sampling points four of them were on the rivers which feed to lake and five of them on the lake were chosen and samples have been taken at each month between on February-August 2006 at the sampling points and 17 organochlorine pesticides were determined. Water samples were transferred to laboratory with freezing store and they were prepared by solid phase extraction method by using cartridges C18 for analyses. Samples are preserved at freezer (+4 °C) until starting to solid phase extraction operation. Pretreated samples were analyzed by using gas chromatograph with electron capture detector in this study. 0.03 ± 0.01 µg/L heptachlor was observed in 96 %, 0.13 ± 0.02 µg/L 4,4´ -DDT was observed in 28 %, 0.44 ± 0.03 µg/L methoxychlor was observed in 12 %, 0.032 ± 0.004 µg/L endosulfan 2 was observed in 6 %, 0.040 ± 0.003 µg/L endosulfan sulfate was observed in 4 %, 0.022 ± 0.001 µg/L alpha-BHC was observed in 2 %, 0.028 ± 0.001 µg/L delta-BHC was observed in 2 %, 0.150 ± 0.008 µg/L endrin was observed in 2 % and 0.070 ± 0.004 µg/L endrin aldehyde was observed in 2 % of fifty samples which have been taken from the lake and its feeding water resources. Some heavy metals were also determined in some water samples taken.
