Özet (EN)
This study was carried out in the eutrophic status of Lake Mogan, located at 20 km south of Ankara. In the present study the concentration of heavy metals (Al, As, Cd, Cu, Fe, Hg, Ni, Pb, Zn) were determined for water and sediment. In addition two fish species carp (Cyprinus carpio) and tench (Tinca tinca) naturally found in Lake were collected for histologic analysis of gill and liver tissues. Samples were collected diannually in six station (Sukesen Deresi, Atatürk Parkı , Vilayet Evi, Mogan Park, İhracatçılar Birliği and Milli Piyango Tesisleri) with two parallels.According to the Soil Pollution Control Regulations, Soil Pollution Parameters Limit Values Copper (Cu), Cadmium (Cd), Lead (Pb), Zinc (Zn) values were found normal limits. However, Hg measurements in 1 station, 2, 3 2.62-5.965 mg/kg) and As measurements in station 2, 3, 6 (20.395-52.45 mg/kg) was found higher than limit values. The relative abundance of sediment heavy metal levels were determined as Al> Fe> Zn> Ni> Cu> Pb> As> Cd> Hg.According to Water Pollution Control Regulation ,Classification of Water Resources Quality Criteria the water analysis results of Cu, Fe, Ni, Pb, Zn, Cd values were found Class-I for while Hg values were found in the Class-III. The values of aluminum for the month of June is quite high values for the month of February. Arsenic(As) values in June and February was found higher in all stations (Class II and III) excluding station 1 (Class1). The relative abundance of heavy metals in water were determined as Pb> Al> Fe> As> Ni> Hg> Cu ? Zn> Cd.The liver tissue of carp and tench did not reveal a significant histopathologic findings. Gill tissue of the two species was shown some pathological findings due to the nutrient abundance and oxygen depletion of eutrophic status of the lake.
